Truly one of Norfolk’s best kept secrets; described as “a very pleasant place to spend a holiday” and “one of the great natural beauty-spots of the area”.
Our Chalet has recently been refurbished and modernised with some of the traditional features carefully preserved to retain the Chalet’s authenticity. Located on the Winterton Valley Estate its only a short walk to the sand dunes and the beach. There are no amenities on the estate which guarantees peace and quiet surrounded by natural beauty.
Just a short walk away is the village where you can enjoy lunch at the Fishermans Return – a 300-year old Freehouse that delivers excellent Pub food. Or why not try Fish & Chips from the award-winning Winterton Fish Bar – the best Chippy in Norfolk (probably). After a long walk on the beach you could also pause for a Coffee or Tea at Poppy’s Tearoom.
Further afield you can enjoy the Norfolk Broads, a National Park with over 125 miles of navigable water way – you can hire boats for the day and explore this unique landscape.
Seal watching is also a must either at Horsey Gap in the winter months or from Blakeney Seal Trips in the spring and summer.
